1 ) Ruby on Rails / PHP Consultant and Developer
Duration: freelance to Full-time employment

We are seeking qualified Ruby on Rails & PHP software developers for web-based projects utilizing content management systems, databases and web applications on the Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP (LAMP) platform.

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

• 3 years of experience in the web development field with significant emphasis on PHP and Ruby programming.
• You must know BOTH PHP AND RUBY.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with other developers
• Motivated self starter who will take the initiative and identify problems and dependencies within code
• Detail oriented with significant emphasis on the quality of their work
• Self-Learning and always building your knowledge of new technologies
• Have strong analytical as well as written and verbal communications skills
• CSS/HTML
• JavaScript, DHTML, XHTML, HTML, XML
• LANGUAGES KNOWN: Conversational & Written English must be excellent. Our interview will be in English.

Familiarity with the following methodologies and technologies is a plus:
• Joomla/Drupal Content Management System
• RSS, ajax
• Struts, Rails, MVC, CakePHP, CodeIgniter or other frameworks
• MVC (Model View Control) and design patterns

The position requires Experience in the following technologies:
• Ruby programming language on the Rails framework -- 1+ Years Experience Required
• PHP programming with PHP4 and PHP5 -- 3+ Years Experience Required
• MySQL database administration, design and knowledge of SQL language -- 3+ Years Experience Required
• Apache web server configuration and administration -- 2+ Years Experience Required
• Linux, Unix and Windows 2003 server -- 2+ Years Experience Required

Salary:
Initially wage will be freelance and based on a hourly or per project period. Wage will be based on your skillset, ability, and market.

• Self-Learning and always building your knowledge of new technologies
• Have strong analytical as well as written and verbal communications skills

We are seeking qualified designers for corporate branding and web-based projects. Designers must show a creative flair, ability to design compelling logos, web sites and collateral materials. The designer should keep abreast of modern design methods and movements, and technologies.

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

• 3 years of experience in the design field
• You must know design tools including but not exclusive to: Adobe products (Photoshop, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, indesign, illustrator) Technologies that include flash, & Swift
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with developers and the customer
• Motivated self starter who will take the initiative and identify potential problems
• Detail-oriented with significant emphasis on the quality of their work
• Self-Learning and always building your knowledge of new technologies
• Have strong analytical as well as written and verbal communications skills
• CSS/HTML
• JavaScript, DHTML, XHTML, HTML, XML
• LANGUAGES KNOWN: Conversational & Written English must be excellent. Our interview will be in English.

4 ) CSS/HTML Expert

Duration: freelance to Full-time employment

The nitty-gritty:
• Implement design deliverables and specs in HTML/CSS/etc.
• Work with the engineering team to integrate front end designs with our back end technologies
• Work with the marketing team and designers to spec out and rapidly prototype new UI features and functions
• Make minor graphical modifications to the site as required
• Work with QA to find and resolve bugs, browser incompatibilities and UI difficulties

If you are the right person for this job you’ll have the following qualifications in some, if not all, of the web development arts, including:

• Expert (or guru) in HTML/DHTML
• Expert at creating and manipulating CSS layouts
• Expert JavaScript, superb XHTML/XML and good ajax
• Ability to understand and manage cross-browser compatibility issues
• Knowledge of common concepts, practices and procedures within web production workflow

Bonus Points for:
• Experience with PERL and MySQL
• Experience authoring/editing XML
• Basic Graphic Design skills (including: Photoshop and illustrator)
• flash/ActionScript experience
